Gwlachmai 1970s. On the right is Glen Cottage garage owned by Idris Owen who lived in Trefin near pant. The garage was sold to “Alan pen ŵy” from Bryngwran. The lady at the bus stop was called Mair. As there were two shell garages in Gwalchmai at the time the CB radio name for Gwalchmai was “Shell Hole”
Gwalchmai isaf: Chapel Moriah in the centre. To the right is a cottage where “Fron Deg” now stands.. The large white cottage to the left of the chapel is “Porth Mawr”. Between the chapel and porth mawr, Bodwina house can be seen. The white chimney just in front of the chapel is part of “Cross keys” now “Gwel y felin”.
